Man arrested in Fla. for Harris Teeter assault in Md.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY (WUSA9) -- Officials in Florida have arrested a man wanted connection to an assault and attempted kidnapping incident in Maryland.

It happened on May 19 around 9:42 p.m. at the Harris Teeter located at 14101 Darnestown Road. A 53-year-old female victim said the suspect, who lives with her, Rickley Joshua Senning, 24 had assaulted her two times that evening; once at her home and then outside at the Harris Teeter. He then took her car and left. He was later involved in a car accident on Darnestown Road near Bondy Lane, police said.

Police obtained a warrant for Senning charging him with kidnapping, false imprisonment, auto theft, and two counts of second degree assault.

On May 27, around 10:00 p.m., the Miami-Dade Police Department responded to a call regarding Rickley Senning. He was then located and taken into custody, police said.
