FBI offers $10,000 reward in Md. Walmart robbery

LAUREL, Md. (WUSA9) -- The FBI Baltimore Division is offering a $10,000 reward for anyone with information that leads to an arrest in a robbery that happened at a Walmart in Laurel, Md. in November 2012.

Authorities said the incident happened at the Walmart located at 3549 Russett Green East, early in the morning on November 14.

The robber forced the night manager into the office and had him stuff cash from the safe into a trash can, authorities said. After the manager put the trash can full of money into a van parked in front of the store, the robber shot the manager in the arm and drove off.

Authorities said the manager was not seriously hurt.

The robber is described as a man with a medium-toned skin, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs around 120 pounds. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a blue knit hat with white snowflakes on it, as well as a scarf and a hooded sweatshirt, authorities said.

If anyone has any information regarding the robbery or the robber, they are asked to call the Baltimore FBI at 410-265-8080. They could receive a reward of up to $10,000 leading to an arrest in the case.
