LAUREL, MD. (WUSA9) - A Laurel woman was arrested on June 30 in the connection with the death of a former FBI agent.
Laurel Police arrested Anne Reed Allen in the death of Scott Alan Horn. Allen is the estranged wife of Horn.
On March 16 around 8:58 p.m., police responded to a 911 call to find 62-year-old Horn dead in the yard of the home. A retired special agent with the FBI, he was found with major trauma to his upper body.
Over the past four months, detectives have been working to gather evidence and build a case against suspect Allen and issued an arrest warrant.
She is charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder and the use of a handgun for violence. She is being held without bond at the Prince George’s County Correctional facility.
