Kennedy family ranch on the Market for $5.9m in Virginia

MARSHALL, VA (WUSA9) - If you've ever wanted to walk the halls of John F. Kennedy or even Jackie O, here's your chance. For $5.9 million you can own a piece of history in Marshall, Va.

The "Wexford" estate was built in the 1960s and fully designed by Jackie Kennedy. The ranch debuted on the market in 2013 at $10.9 million and includes 166 acres, four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, a pool, tennis court, stable and a pond.

The home was completed just weeks before President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. And if you are really looking to live surrounded by history, Business Insider reported that Ronald Reagan rented the estate in 1980 to prepare for his debates against Jimmy Carter.

The property's price has been cut in half since it went on the market but it is still considerably higher than the average home in Marshall, Va.
