Information wanted in pedestrian struck by car in Rockville

ROCKVILLE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police are searching for information after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Rockville Sunday night. 

The man was severely injured after being hit by a car around 8:50 p.m. in the area of Norbeck Road and Baltimore Road, Montgomery County police said. 

The investigation shows that Jum Soon Kim of Burtonsville was driving a 1999 Acura Integra eastbound on Norbeck Road when she hit the man crossing Norbeck Road on the east side of the intersection. 

The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

Detectives are investigating the crash and are trying to identify the pedestrian. He is described as a Hispanic man who is possibly between the ages of 35 and 45.
