Husband accused in 80-year-old woman's death in arson

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Police say the husband of a woman killed in a fire at three-story row house in DC. is accused of arson.

The incident happened at approximately 5:50 a.m. on Feb. 13 in the 4600 block of 4th Street, N.W.

After crews put out the fire, they found 80-year-old Lucille Proctor unconscious and not breathing, police said.

Robert Proctor, 76, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with arson, police said.
