Government building in Herndon damaged twice

HERNDON, Va. (WUSA9) -- A man has been arrested for damaging a government building in Virginia.

The first incident happened at the government building located at 765 Lynn Street on Jan. 17. The second incident happened on April 1 where several windows of the building had been smashed.

Gregory P. Gullace Jr., 33 has been arrested in connection to the incident on Jan. 17. He has been charged with felony destruction of property and has been taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

The damage was estimated at around $4,500-$5,000, officials said.

Police are asking the public to contact them if they saw or heard anything this morning between the hours of 4:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. in the area of 777 Lynn Street. Please call 703-435-6846.
