Georgetown student charged with possession of ricin

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Officials have charged a 19-year-old student at Georgetown University with possession of a biological toxin.

Daniel Harry Milzman, 19, of Bethesda, Md., has been charged with possession of Ricin.

On March 19, officials at Georgetown University announced that substance in a dorm room had tested positive for ricin.

Milzman was arrested on March 21 and appeared in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia for the federal offense.

He is still being held without bond and his next court hearing is scheduled for June 2.
