FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- A woman was arrested Tuesday evening after she overdosed in a bathroom while she was watching a child, Frederick police say.
At about 6:47 p.m., police responded to a drug overdose in the area of the 300 block of South Jefferson St.
Upon arrival, police saw that Sashae Caprice Baxter, 20, of Frederick had overdosed on heroin in the bathroom. According to police, Baxter was watching a child at the time of the incident.
Baxter was treated on scene by EMS. She was transported to Frederick County Adult Detention Center for processing.
Baxter is being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance to wit heroin, two counts of possession of paraphernalia, and child neglect.
