Police make arrest in Md. attempted arson

FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police arrested a man for attempting to set his Frederick, Md. house on fire early Sunday morning.

Frederick Police said, they arrested Harry Burton Keller after responding to the 300 block of Madison St. for the report of Keller trying to set his house on fire.

The investigation shows the 45-year-old attempted to set the house on fire by using a portable heater attached to a propane cylinder, authorities said.

This happened after Keller had an argument with the other residents of the house.

Keller did not succeed in actually starting a fire, police said. The fire department quickly made it to the scene.

Police found Keller a little later and arrested him. According to authorities, he was taken into custody and is being charged with attempted first degree arson and related charges.
