Frederick man faces assault charge in stabbing

FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police say a man in Frederick has been arrested for an attempted stabbing.

It happened on June 30 at approximately 6:42 p.m. in the 200 block of Phebus Avenue, police say. Upon arrival, police located two white males who were involved in a physical altercation.

Further investigation revealed that one of the subjects, identified as Adam Christopher Kiser, attempted to stab the other male, causing a minor injury.

Kiser, 33, of the 1st block of Degrange Street in Frederick, faces charges of 1st degree assault, 2nd degree assault, possession of a marijuana smoking pipe, possession of marijuana, and disorderly conduct.
