Frederick man busted for heroin in undercover sting

FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police in Frederick say a 32-year-old man was busted for heroin during an undercover sting.

On June 15, police say Larry Dwayne Sweeney, Jr., a man they believed to be dealing heroin in the city, arranged to sell a quantity of heroin to an officer.

After the deal was finished, Sweeney was arrested without incident.

Sweeney, of the 9000 block of Ernest Drive, is charged with Possession Heroin, Possession with Intent to Distribute Heroin, Distribution Heroin.
