Cab driver robbed at knifepoint in Md.

FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- A cab driver was robbed at knifepoint in Frederick early on Saturday morning, police said.

It happened in the area of Rhode Island Ct. at around 12:50 a.m., police said.

"The driver reported he picked up the two suspects and when he was dropping them off on Rhode Island Ct. one of the suspects produced a knife and demanded money. The suspects ran off toward the apartment complex," police said in a news release.

Police arrived and searched the area, but they couldn't find the suspects.

The police released this description of the suspects:

1) Black male, approximately 25-30 years old, 6 ft. tall, wearing a grey sweater, blue jeans and a knit cap

2) Black male, older, approximately 5'10", wearing a grey colored sweater, blue jeans, tan work boots and a ski mask.
