Firefighter dies of cardiac arrest during training exercise

BALTIMORE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Officials said a Baltimore County Firefighter died of a cardiac arrest during a training exercise on Friday.

Firefighter Robert Fogle III, 58 was taken to the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center after the cardiac arrest during a training exercise in Sparrows Point. He was pronounced dead at the hospital, officials said.

Officials say Fogle is a 27 year veteran of the Baltimore County Fire Department and was stationed at Pikesville (Station 2). He is survived by his wife and two adult children.
