Close Fire on E street in DC leaves officer injured WUSA 5:48 PM. EDT April 10, 2014 CONNECT TWEET LINKEDIN GOOGLE+ PINTEREST WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Over 50 firefighters put out a fire in DC Thursday afternoon. The fire happened at 1612 E Street N.E. Authorities said as of now only one person, an officer has been taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
