Fire intentionally lit at Fairfax school

FAIRFAX, Va. (WUSA9) -- Fairfax County fire officials are investigating what they're calling an "intentionally set" fire at a local school.

Officials were called to Robinson Secondary School, located at 5035 Sideburn Road, at 7:40 a.m. Tuesday for the report of a fire.

Firefighters encountered a fire in a second floor boys' bathroom.

The fire was quickly extinguished and the school was evacuated for less than an hour, officials say. No one was injured and damage is estimated at $1,000.
