Federal, local authorities raid Warrenton gas station

There was breaking news in Northern Virginia on Wednesday where a federal agents are raided a gas station in Warrenton.

FAUQUIER COUNTY, VA. - Several federal agencies raided a Warrenton Valero gas station, located at 9486 James Madison Hwy, Wednesday afternoon. Homeland Security Investigations, the Drug Enforcement Agency and the Fauquier County Sheriff's Office are the lead on this investigation. 

Sources confirm agents were executing a search warrant in a drug-related case. WUSA9 has also confirmed this is part of a larger ongoing federal investigation. 

Investigators started an hours-long search of the location just after 4 p.m. Wednesday. Agents searched inside the gas station and also focused their attention on a vehicle parked in the back of the property. A spokesperson for HSI wasn't able to provide any additional details on the raid because the investigation is ongoing. 

An online search of the location found that the owners are a company called "NAH Partners" with Nasser Latif listed as the company's president. WUSA9 tried calling the number listed online but was not able to get in contact with anyone. 

The station was closed late Wednesday evening after authorities packed up. According to authorities, they were only executing a search warrant Wednesday and no arrests have been made yet.
