FBI search for DC bank robbery suspect

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Police are looking for a suspect in connection to a bank robbery which happened in DC.

The incident happened on June 6 around 12:45 p.m. at the PNC Bank located at 2000 Martin Luther King Avenue S.E. The suspect went up to the teller, passed a note and demanded money. He was able to leave the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

Officials describe the suspect as being a black male in his 20's, around 5'7" to 5'9" in height. He has a thin build and a mustache. He was wearing a blue bucket-style hat with a white band, a dark-colored short-sleeved t-shirt with a graphic design on the front, and dark-colored pants, police said.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect. If you have any information, call the FBI at 202-727-9099.
