Sketch released of July 4 Falls Church stabbing suspect

FALL CHURCH, Va. (WUSA9) -- Fairfax County police need your help identifying a suspect who they say stabbed a woman while she was watching fireworks on July 4.

Police say a woman was watching fireworks across from George Mason High School around 10:30 p.m. in the 7100 block of Leesburg Pike when she was stabbed.

The suspect fled on foot and was chased for a short distance by bystanders, according to police.

He is described as a white male in his late teens to early 20s, with short, blond hair, and a slim build. He was wearing a white tank top and colored shorts.
