Man dies after being pinned underneath SUV

FAIRFAX, Va. (WUSA9) -- Police say they are investigating the death of a man who apparently became pinned underneath a Chevrolet Tahoe he was working on at his home in Fairfax.

According to City of Fairfax police, Daniel Joseph Dorman was working on the SUV on Sunday afternoon in the 4100 block of Burke Stateion Road. Police say at some point the vehicle rolled off its supposed stands and fell on Dorman.

Dorman was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, say police.

The Office of the Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause of his death.
