Emergency training exercise at George Mason University

FAIRFAX, Va. (WUSA9) -- Officials at George Mason University will be holding an emergency exercise on the Fairfax Campus on Thursday.

The exercise will take place on May 29. It is to test and practice response procedures and communications plans, officials said.

The University does conduct such drills periodically but officials would like to remind the community that there will be more law enforcement and emergency response vehicles on campus from 6 a.m. until around noon.
