Dozens of children sickened after chlorine exposure in Md.

EDGEWATER, Md. (WUSA9) -- Dozens of children are being evaluated after a possible chlorine exposure Wednesday morning, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

A call came in to the department around 9:50 a.m. for the report of multiple children suffering from nausea and vomiting at the popular Camp Letts.

Officials say 13 children have serious but non-life threatening injuries and 13 children have minor injuries. The children are between eight and 14 years old.

We're told a total of 33 patients have been transported to various hospitals.
