DMV can't process credit cards due to cyber attack

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - The Department of Motor Vehicles in D.C. could not process credit card transactions on Friday due to a cyber attack. 

As of noon on Friday, only cash, checks and money orders were being accepted as form of payments for vehicles registration. 

DMV officials said only vehicle registration was affected. Tickets could still be paid by credit cards.
