Diamond nuts recalled due to possible Salmonella contamination

LANDOVER, Md. (WUSA9) -- Giant Food has recalled Diamond Nuts due to potential Salmonella contamination. 

The following products are included in the recall:

  • Diamond Macadamia Halves & Pieces, 2.25 oz, UPC 7045074391 with lot numbers 16137D331S and 16159D331S and Best Before Dates of 16 NOV 2017 and 07 DEC 2017
  • Diamond Chopped Macadamia Nuts, 2.25 oz, UPC 7045074391 with lot numbers 16137D331S and 16159D331S and Best Before Dates of 16 NOV 2017 and 07 DEC 2017

Giant has not been informed of any illnesses up till this date. 

Consumers who purchased the items can bring their receipt to Giant for a full refund.
