Woman found dead in DC apartment, ID sought

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Police are trying to identify a woman who was found dead in a Northwest, D.C. apartment in November 2014.

The woman was found dead on November 5, around 5 a.m. in her apartment located at 5100 Connecticut Avenue, in Northwest, D.C., Metropolitan police said.

Her manner of death has not been determined yet.

Police describe the person as a woman between the ages of 45 and 65 years of age. She was 5'1" tall and weighed around 80 pounds. She had green eyes and short brown and gray loosely curled hair, police said. The woman had three faint linear scars located on the front of her left wrist and no tattoos.

A pair of boots and two rings were found next to her.
