Wednesday Pothole Alert: South Dakota Ave.

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- If you take South Dakota Avenue in Northeast DC to work, WUSA9 has a pothole alert for you.

Veronica Smythe of Upper Marlboro, Maryland takes South Dakota Avenue into work from her Prince George's County home. She says drivers need to be particularly careful in the 49-hundred block of this road. This is near Delafield Street. There is one pothole so deep it is down to the rocks and rebar. There is also a second one, not as deep, but almost as jarring warns Smythe.

The WUSA9 Pothole Patrol Team is reporting them both to the District Department of Transportation. DDOT promises to make repairs to potholes within 3 business days of getting a complaint.
