WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - DC Police need help tracking down some bad guys with guns.
Officers said two men fired into a crowd near Q and 1st Streets on Saturday during Memorial Day weekend.
Police heard gunshots in the area around 1:00 a.m. and found Algernon Harvey Jones lying on the ground.
Jones was pronounced dead on the scene and transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
Jones was a 32-year-old father from Southeast, D.C.
Both suspects were last seen leaving in a black vehicle with tinted windows.
Police only have vague descriptions of them.
There is up to $25,000 available to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people who killed Jones and injured seven others.
