#UberPUPPIES delights some dog fans, disappoints others

Uber puppies' problem is there wasn't enough puppies to go around.

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- It was supposed to be a nationwide effort to get puppies adopted.

Uber and Animal Planet came up with a promotion where people in selected cities, including D.C., spend $30 and get puppies delivered to their door for fifteen minutes of cuddling.

A number of people tried it and it worked, but there weren't enough puppies to go around.

The deal was a promotion for Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl. The puppies people played with in the D.C. area are all up for adoption at the Washington Animal Rescue League. Visit their website for info on how you can adopt dogs and how to watch their live puppy cam.
