Tuesday Pothole Alert: 18th Street

WASHINGTON (WUSA9)-- Paula Offord of Woodbridge, Va. says the worst potholes can be found on 18th Street in Northwest DC.

Specifically, Paula says head to the intersection of 18th and G streets. She tells WUSA9 "If you hit anyone of them your tire is flat for sure."

While our Pothole Patrol didn't see any flat tires, we sure did see plenty of cars jockeying to avoid the craters on this stretch of road. Some even looked like they were on a roller coaster ride maneuvering the bumps and dips. We even spotted a pedestrian or two getting caught up in the craters.

WUSA9 will be reporting this minefield of potholes to the District Department of Transportation. They promise to make repairs to potholes within three business days of getting a complaint.
