Thursday Pothole Alert: Northeast DC

WASHINGTON (WUSA9)--Ebony Hamilton has proclaimed the 3100 block of South Dakota Avenue, NE in DC as our Pothole Alert for the Day.

She hits potholes coming and going when commuting from her New Carrollton home. "The worst ones," says Ebony, "Are the craters wedged next to the man hole covers. It's a one-two punch to your front end and your nerves."

The WUSA9 Pothole Patrol Team will report this problem spot to the District Department of Transportation. The good news is this is Potholepalooza season. Which means the city promises to fix potholes in 2 days versus the typical 3.
