WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - Recent natural disasters are a vivid reminder of the importance of local broadcasters.
And the responsibility to serve our communities was the message from the CEO of WUSA9’s parent company TEGNA.
Dave Lougee was part of a panel at the 41st annual National Association Of Black Owned Broadcasters.
The event was held at the Washington Marriott Georgetown Hotel.
Dave was one of three high profile media executives who offered insight to industry veterans from across the country.
He was joined by Urban One CEO Alfred Liggins and Caroline Beasley of Beasley Media Group.
