Suspicious substance investigated at Israeli embassy

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Police are investigating the report of a suspicious substance at the Israeli Embassy in Northwest Washington.

U.S. Secret Service officials says that, together with D.C. and Montgomery County Fire Departments, they are investigating a suspicious substance at the embassy, located at 3514 International Drive.

Secret Service officials say Van Ness Street NW is shut down between Reno Road and International Drive.
