Police: Sex assault suspects lured teen on Instagram

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- D.C. police have arrested two men who they say sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl who they met on Instagram.

Forty-five-year-old Orlando James Roberts of Northwest and 19-year-old Javon Rashawn Henson of District Heights, Md. have been arrested and charged with first degree child sexual abuse.

On July 13, Roberts and Henson, posing as father and son, picked up the victim at her house "to hang out for the day," according to charging documents. Police say that the two men took the victim to a house in the 3200 block of Park Place Northwest and sexually assaulted her multiple times.

According to charging documents, Roberts told the victim not to tell anyone and that "this was their secret."

The victim told police that she met Henson on Instagram a week before the assault.

Both Roberts and Henson were arrested on July 22. Police report that their Youth Investigations Division arrested Roberts. Henson was arrested by Prince George's County Police and District Heights Police and is being held as a fugitive, authorities say.
