Police seek person of interest in suspicious death

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- D.C. police are seeking the public's help in identifying two persons of interest in connection to a suspicious death

Police say the incident -- a violent assault -- occurred Tuesday, May 6, in the 400 block of 8th Street, SE, at approximately 12:35 a.m. The victim, 60-year-old Carlton Coltrane of Southeast Washington, was pronounced dead on Friday afternoon.

Anyone who has information regarding this case should call police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. DC Crime Solvers currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a serious crime committed in the District of Columbia.
