Police search for man in Northeast armed kidnapping

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Police are looking for a suspect involved in a sexual assault and an armed kidnapping that happened on March 1 in Northeast D.C.

The Metropolitan Police Department said the incident happened around 11 a.m. that Saturday in the 700 block of Barnes Street, Northeast.

The suspect is described as a black man in his twenties and around 5 feet 7 inches tall. He has a slim build, according to authorities, short black hair and a goatee.

He was last seen wearing a black skull cap, a tan jacket over a gray hooded sweatshirt with a single front pocket, white-washed blue jeans and black and white Nike Jordan 3 shoes, police said. The man may go by the name "Moses", according to police.
