Police: Ex-Redskin Davis wanted for domestic violence

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- D.C. police are seeking the public's assistance in locating former Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis, who is wanted for a domestic violence incident.

Police say it happened at 3 a.m. on June 2 in the 2400 block of 18th Street, NW.

Davis is described by police as a black male, with medium complexion, in his late twenties, between 6'8" and 6'9" in height, and weighing approximately 250 pounds. He resides in Leesburg, Va.

Members of the public should take no action, but contact police immediately if located. Anyone who has information regarding this case should call police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. DC Crime Solvers currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any assault committed in the District of Columbia.
