Police: 2 suspects wanted for armed carjacking in DC

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - Police are looking for two people for an armed carjacking in Northeast D.C. on July 8.

At 6:08 p.m., police said the two suspects asked the victim if he was selling his scooter. When the victim said he was not, one of the suspects took out a handgun and told the victim to get off the vehicle. He did, and the suspects left with the victim’s scooter.

Anyone with information on the two suspects should call police at 202-727-9099. Information can also be submitted to TEXT TIP LINE by sending a text message to 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department offers a reward up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent offense, including armed robbery, committed in the District of Columbia.
