Passenger arrested for spitting on Metro bus driver

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - A 31-year-old man was arrested after police say he spit on a Metro bus driver in Northeast, D.C. 

Coleman James Miller of Northeast, D.C. was charged with simple assault, according to Metro Transit Police.

The incident happened around 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday in the 4200 block of Minnesota Avenue.

Police say Miller was positively identified at the Shell Gas Station on Benning Road NE.
