Morning fire at NW DC YWCA

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- D.C. fire and rescue officials were on scene of a fire Monday morning in the area of Rhode Island Avenue and 9th Street in Northwest Washington.

Officials say a small trash fire started in a hallway of the Phyllis Wheatley YWCA was reported around 4:45 a.m.

One person was transported to a local hospital for smoke inhalation, and it's unclear if anyone has been displaced, officials say.
