MISSING: 15-year-old girl from DC

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Police are searching for a missing 15-year-old from D.C., who was last seen on August 11, Montgomery County police said.

Tinae Jarona Swann, 15, of D.C. was last seen on August 11 around 11 p.m. at a family member's home in the 4500 block of East West Highway in Bethesda, police said. She is believed to possibly be in Greensboro, North Carolina. Police have been in contact with local authorities in North Carolina.

Swann is described as a black female, standing 5'5" tall and weighing around 200 pounds. She has brown eyes and short brown hair.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Tinae Swann is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victim's Investigative Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
