Metro Police seek person of interest in flashings

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The Metro Transit police need your help identifying a man in connection with several indecent exposure incidents aboard metro trains.

At least three indecent exposure incidents have been reported within the last two weeks, metro police said.

All victims described a similar individual, and one of the victims was able to take the provided photo, police said.

Transit police believe the incidents may be related. Two of the incidents occurred on Red Line trains, one at Dupont Circle, the other at Brookland. The third incident was reported in Virginia. All reported incidents took place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. during the week, Metro Transit Police said.

The person of interest may carry a dark blue duffle bag and use it for cover before exposing himself, transit police reported.

Other, unreported incidents may have occurred, Metro Transit Police encourage any other victims to come forward.
