Man wanted for arson on Metro

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - Metro Transit Police need the public’s help in identifying a man they said lit something on fire at the Pentagon City Metro Station.

It happened just after 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police said the man walked to the far end of the station and lit something on fire. They said it burned itself out and did not spread.

That same man later got onto a train and held up a sign.

MTP hope that someone who was on the train can give further details about what the sign said.
