Man shot, killed near Anacostia Metro Station

WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- D.C. police are looking for multiple suspects involved in a fatal shooting overnight, just a short distance from the Anacostia Metro Station.

Metropolitan Police say officers were called to the 2600 block of Bowen Road near Sayles Place for a report of a shooting around 11:58 p.m. Once MPD arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from multiple gun shots to the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say they are looking for 4 black men wearing dark clothing and hoods. The suspects reportedly made their escape in a black Hyundai Sonata.

Right now the 2600 block of Bowen Road is shut down to traffic.
