Man killed in SE shooting, suspects wanted

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- DC police said one man is dead, two additional people have been shot and two suspects are being sought in connection with a SE shooting that happened early Sunday morning.

Police said the incident happened in the 4200 6th Street of SE, D.C. around 12:30 a.m. Deputies found three men suffering from gunshot wounds when they got to the scene.

All three victims were taken to the hospital. Delano Phillips of SE, D.C. was pronounced dead at the hospital, authorities said.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department's TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.
