Man grazed by bullet near Metro station

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - A man was grazed by a bullet near the Brookland-CUA Metro Station Friday afternoon, a Metro spokesman said.

Just after 4 p.m., Metro Transit and D.C. police officers responded to a parking area about 100 yards away from the station in Northeast, D.C. They found a man with a minor wound to his ear. He’s expected to recover.

Police believe the suspect drove away in a silver compact car—either a Honda Accord or a Toyota. He was wearing a light-colored shirt and black baseball hat.

Investigators do not have a motive for the shooting at this time.
