Man, 19, stabbed at DC Metro station

Radio station WTOP ( ) reports the man was stabbed several times at the station late Friday night. The man was conscious and breathing when he was taken to a hospital. Officials say the stabbing happened as a result of a fight on an inbound blue line train that spilled out onto the train platform around 11:20 p.m.

Authorities said they recovered a hunting knife with a three-inch blade at the crime scene and stopped several people outside the station who might have been involved in or witnessed the fight.
