WASHINGTON (WUSA) - Metro lines experienced issues Tuesday on one of the worst traffic days in the D.C. area.
Around 4 a.m. Tuesday, Metro officials said a contractor track unit derailed outside Dunn Loring forcing trains to single track between West Falls Church and Vienna.
Crews have since re-railed the construction vehicle at Dunn Loring and service has been restored.
