WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA9)--Sarah Wilson, of Bowie commutes into DC every day. She says a crater in the 52-hundred block of North Capitol Street, near Riggs Road, NE should be our Friday Pothole Alert.
"There is no avoiding it if you are in the far right hand lane," says Sarah. "Especially during morning rush when no one will let you over."
When the WUSA9 Pothole Alert Team went out we saw car after car hitting the pothole. The asphalt so far gone you could see rocks at the bottom of the pit.
MORE: Where To Report Potholes
The WUSA9 Pothole Patrol Team will report this problem spot to the District Department of Transportation. The good news is this is Potholepalooza season. Which means the city promises to fix potholes in 2 days versus the typical 3.
