WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - D.C. restaurants and bars are helping the relief effort in Texas in different ways as that state continues to clean up from Hurricane Harvey.
On Saturday, several D.C. businesses plan to donate part of their sales to the Red Cross. You can learn more about that effort here by clicking here.
Many District restaurants are also undertaking individual efforts to assist Houston flood victims. On Twitter, those businesses are using the hashtag, #Dineout4Houston.
D.C.-based chef José Andrés is also recruiting chefs to join him in Houston to prepare meals for people in need. You can find more information on that here.
