DC police seek suspect in violent robbery

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- D.C. police are seeking the public's assistance in locating and identifying a person of interest in connection to a violent robbery.

The incident occurred on Sunday, March 2, around 6:18 p.m. in the rear of the 1400 block of Eastern Avenue, Northeast.

Police released the following surveillance video of the suspect:

Anyone who has information regarding this case should call police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. DC Crime Solvers currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a burglary while armed committed in the District of Columbia.
